北美中华医学会（American Chinese Medical Association, ACMA）将于今年夏天主办为期两周 plus 的青少年夏令营。此活动主要针对于对医学及生物医学科学感兴趣的大学生及高中生。夏令营首先是一周的集中授课讨论并参观医学院和附属医院。夏令营将为青少年提供一个很好的学习机会，让他们能够与世界级顶尖的临床医生及生物医学科学家一起讨论学习，密切接触，从而对医学的各个方面积累第一手经验。在一周的授课后，夏令营成员将有机会获得北美中华医学会资深会员指导下的研究和医学等方面的实践机会。
时间：第一周: 7月18日 – 7月22日 (集中授课讨论及参观)
第二周plus: 7月25日– （实习）
地点：第一周: 大波士顿地区
第二周plus: 全美各地
条件：对生物医学感兴趣，学业成绩优良的大学生及高中生可以申请。
申请要求：1）个人简历; 2）个人自传，描述本人将来学业及职业目标，以及参与此夏令营如何帮助你达到这些目标；3）一至两封推荐信。
报名截止日期: 所有申请材料包括推荐信必须在2016年7月15日之前收到。

第二周实习按排
每位成员最后的实习按排将根据个人兴趣，导师的时间以及按排的可行性来决定。
夏令营概述：“医学与未来”青少年夏令营是由北美中华医学会（American Chinese Medical Association, ACMA）精心设计。夏令营将为有意从事临床医学和生物医学事业的高中生和大学生提供一个独特的学习环境及经历。在2015年的夏令营活动中，参加者有机会亲身体验到了真实的临床医学以及生物医学科研的最前沿。从而深化并明确了对医学科学事业的理解和追求。即将到来的2016年夏令营将提供更广泛的专题讨论，及接触不同临床和研究设施和环境的机会。参加者将得到ACMA知名教授的指导，从而协助参加者为未来的临床医学和生物医学科学的职业生涯做好准备。更重要的是，通过夏令营的活动，你有机会与一流的医生和科学家建立专业联系，并与来自全美各地及世界各地的参加者在美丽的波士顿一起享受一个独特的，有收获的暑假。

ACMA will host Medicine and Future (医学与未来) Youth Summer Internship Program (2016)
ACMA is offering a 2-plus-week youth summer internship for high school and college students who are interested in medicine and biomedical science. The program includes one week of highly structured didactic sessions combined with a variety of exposure in clinical and research settings under the mentorship of ACMA senior members. Interns will have the unique opportunities to work closely with world-class physicians and biomedical scientists. After the first week, students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research and other aspects of medicine.
Time: Week I: 7/18 – 7/22, 2015.
Week II plus: 7/25—
Location: Greater Boston area (week one didactic), and national wide (week two practicum)
Eligibility: High school or college students who have an academic record of marked distinction and who have an interest in medical career are encouraged to apply.
Application Requirements: 1) Resume; 2) An essay describing your academic and career goals, and how this program will complement those goals; 3) One or two letters of recommendation.
Deadline: All application materials including the letters of recommendation must be received by July 15, 2016.
